Emerging health concerns have increasingly necessitated the need for innovation of modern digital health intervention to improve surveillance capacity for better preparation and response to public health emergencies. In response to health emergency situations especially in Nigeria, there has been an increasing challenge of ineffective coordination amongst health stakeholders and government agencies has most times hindered the chances of collectively assessing situations and developing a tailored innovative solution.

Thus the 13th episode of insights webinar titled; “Innovating for an improved Surveillance, Emergency Preparedness and Response in Public Health”, will discuss  the need for innovations that will improve preparation of healthcare systems to combat and respond to health emergencies.  The webinar will also amplify interventions by ehealth Africa and other partner organizations to improve surveillance and preparedness for health emergency response initiatives.
