National Epidemic preparedness and response will be incomplete without the ownership and capacity at the state level. The work being done by eHealth Africa in collaboration with the states is a critical piece in ensuring that subnational preparedness is well define and prioritized in order to save lives by preventing, detecting, and responding to outbreaks timeously.
