eHealth Africa Invests $2 Million and Donates $112,000 to EHA Clinics for Enhanced Healthcare Services in Nigeria

Abuja, Nigeria — July 17, 2023 — eHealth Africa (eHA) has approved a significant investment of $2 million and a generous donation of $112,000 to EHA Clinics, a leading primary healthcare provider in Nigeria. This strategic move reflects eHA’s unwavering commitment to supporting healthcare initiatives in Nigeria and its dedication to improving access to quality healthcare services for all.

During the board meeting, Evelyn Castle, Chairperson of the eHealth Africa Board of Directors, reiterated the organization’s commitment to advancing healthcare in Nigeria. She said, “The allocated funds will be utilized to bolster and strengthen the operations of EHA Clinics, ultimately benefiting thousands of individuals across the country.

eHA’s increased investment in EHA Clinics signifies a profound endorsement of the Clinic’s exceptional performance and dedication to delivering superior healthcare services. EHA Clinics has consistently demonstrated its commitment to providing comprehensive and compassionate primary healthcare services, leveraging innovative technology solutions and a skilled medical workforce.

The additional $2 million investment eHA provides will enable EHA Clinics to expand its capacity, improve infrastructure, and upgrade its facilities across its five branches. With this funding, EHA Clinics aims to enhance its primary healthcare services, ensuring that even more individuals have access to quality medical care, diagnostic services, and treatment options.

Similarly, the $112,000 donation will be allocated to the EHA Clinics Community Health Program, REACH. Since its inception in 2019, the REACH program has positively impacted over 7,000 families across various underserved communities, and it aims to extend its reach to benefit 20,000 families by 2024. The newly established REACH primary healthcare hubs in Abuja and Kano are projected to serve an average of 300 customers daily. Providing in-person care to 100 individuals, others will have access to virtual consultations through EHA Care, a digital health platform developed by EHA Clinics.

Through this generous donation, the REACH program will be able to complete the set up and early operational cost of the newly established REACH hubs in Abuja and Kano.,” said Paul Hogan, Chief Operations Officer, EHA Clinics Limited.

By leveraging the power of technology and community-focused initiatives, eHealth Africa and EHA Clinics aim to revolutionize healthcare delivery in Nigeria. Through their collaborative efforts, they will continue bridging healthcare access gaps and providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to all.
