eHealth Africa announces two product releases: Gather 3.0 and Aether 1.0

eHA just launched the latest software update for the Gather data collection tool and the final release of its companion data curation solution Aether.

BERLIN, GermanyOctober 31, 2018 — eHealth Africa (eHA), an organization that designs and implements software solutions to improve health systems in underserved communities, announced the release of two product updates today. The arrival of Aether 1.0 and the upgraded version of Gather 3.0 follow closely behind the open source release for both solutions in July. Both open source ehealth solutions were designed to improve health outcomes by facilitating timely access to relevant data.

Aether is a development platform that enables organizations to more easily build ehealth solutions that curate and exchange live information, interoperate different source data, and connect to external applications. Aether also makes it easier to build tools with enhanced data privacy and data security standards. With the release of version 1.0, the development platform is ready for public use.

Gather is a data collection tool that empowers front line healthcare workers to easily collect and share data everywhere it’s needed. The 3.0 version of Gather functions fully on the Aether platform, enhancing the data collection tool with data extraction, masking, and curation capabilities. The 3.0 release also presents an upgraded UI and new export capabilities.

More information can be found on our solutions page or you can access the Aether and Gather websites to download the softwares yourself.
