The objective of the Electronic Management of Immunisation Data support (EMID) project is to support the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) to optimise the functionality of the Electronic Management of Immunisation Data (EMID) system.

The project will run from April 2022 - March 2023. Within this time, the team is expected to complete the following deliverables:
To conduct requirement elicitation exercise and develop a report on optimal functionality requirements for the Nigerian EMID
Propose and improve Architectural design for the EMID system and develop a detailed report highlighting the baseline architecture, target architecture, and gap analysis
Review the functionality, capability, and utilization of the different information systems, including the interoperability capacity with other relevant systems, including the country’s HMIS (DHIS2) and LMIS
Solution sign-off of the optimized EMID system including the EMID mobile application, pub reg tool, a validation tool, verification system- trusted travel, Lata travel pass, common pass)
Design a clear governance and reporting structure that will ensure efficient management of the EMID
Develop a costed 12-month roadmap for the scale-up of the EMID for COVID-19 use, nationwide.
Develop a costed yearly general maintenance roadmap.
Provide technical assistance and project management support throughout the deployment of using EMID for COVID-19 Vaccines
Capacity building, knowledge transfer, hand-holding sessions, and development of a sustainability plan.
Set up a Help desk Support System (Off-the-shelf solutions)
